Veracity HT3's in BMW Milanobeige

For those of you who do not follow the "Available for Immediate Delivery" page...

We had an extra pair of HT3 cabinets sitting around when someone called and wanted to audition a pair.  So we took a trip to the local automotive paint store and picked out a color - BMW Milanobeige.  We thought this would blend with any number of wood tones in a home.  We really liked the results - very clean.

Here are some pics...

And a close-up...

Wow - those are pretty cool looking.  I can't tell: is there a gloss finish on them?

While these photos don't really capture the gloss, you can see reflections in the bottom of the left speaker and the side of the right speaker in the first photo.

Yes, they were shot with standard automotive basecoat/clearcoat.  The clearcoat is a high-gloss clear.  We did not rub them out since the clearcoat layed down quite nicely.

Oh yeah - was looking on my work laptop monitor, which sucks.  I see it now, though. :)

I love my Harbeth's, but every time I look at Jim's work, I start to drool and scheme...a bad sign...

Wow.  Just Wow!  I like the wood look but every time I look at an automotive finish it completely transforms the speaker to make it look modern.  :thumb:
