Any fans of Steve Carell / Michael Scott with an opinion on this one?

Have not seen it but when I want some sense of a new movie I usually look here:  http://www.metacritic.com/movies

Apart from a few funny moments this movie was agony to sit through.

I liked the quirky French 'The Dinner Game' on which it was based more than this adaptation.

Apart from a few funny moments this movie was agony to sit through.

One hour in felt like two hours, pretty painful to watch.  Judging by the laughter there were only 2 or 3 people out of an audience of around 40 that enjoyed it.  ZERO stars and NO thumbs up

Simply horrid.  Trite, predictable rubbish for "one trick pony" wanna be actors.

I like Steve Carell and Tina Fey, but something doesn't seem right about it.  I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD before I see it.

Spare yourself the agony.  It's not worth it.  I'd rather be waterboarded.
