We're sitting on tenterhooks waiting for you to reveal what this new product is. You say it will take the performance of your already-existing products to the next level. Well, I can't believe that is possible, but I won't want to bet against you.  :nono:
Your delivery to promise ratio seems to be a 1:1. I for one, am excited.

I'll be posting about it by the end of next week  :hyper:

Oh yes, it gets a LOT better!  BET ON IT!  8)

Here is my setup in a finished basement.  The source is currently an overbuilt Windows-based server, with Blu-Ray and HD-DVD capability, although I have tried a MacBook Pro with terrific success as well.  The Mac has great transparency and is dead quiet in operation, while the PC portrays a more tube-like body of sound and presents a HUGE soundstage.  Given that the computer was modified by the Upgrade Company it should!

Hi Profbratsch,

Awesome looking (and I'm sure SOUNDING) basement set-up - thanks for posting!  :thumb:

Interesting comparison between the MAC and modded PC.  Are you running the same playback software and music file types on both computers?

Thanks again,

Vinnie

No, I'm not, so I guess you could say I am comparing Apples and...oranges.

On the MAC I am playing Lossless files through Front Row, and on the PC .wav files through Windows Media Center.  I loved both setups for different reasons.

I will eventually move the computer to the cabinet directly to the right of the rack and that should eliminate the very slight power fan noise I am getting.  But that means I'll have to save up for the longer USB and power cables I will then need to change the location.  :(

I’m privileged to have one of the best jobs in the world, helping a really great guy create his Web site. If you could only see what's sitting on the staging server as of today, it's absolutely great news for music lovers and especially existing customers!

I predict there will be a waiting line for this one. But I'm sworn to secrecy, so hang in there.

As much as I love the clean, minimalist esthetic of the Red Wine Audio line, another really great thing about it is that it's physical presence doesn't have to become a sacrificial altar in the middle of your listening space.  I have the Isabella, 70.2s, my homemade Bottlehead Eros phonostage, and one metric shitton of associated plugs and cables all easily contained in my home's built-in cabinetry.  Pure bitchin'.

Texendo,

Really beautiful setup! :thumb:

I don't recognize the speakers.  Would you mind telling me what they are?  They appear to have the offset tweeter ala Living Voice and they look about the same size as some of the smaller offerings within the Audio Physic line (although the siide-firing woofer is definitely smaller than what the APs have).  Absolutely gorgeous grain.

I'm sure the music comes out in spades and, from the look of things, the environment is ideal (both inside and outside) to listen to your favorites.

A parting shot:  if you had any designs on keeping a secret identity you definitely blew your cover.  The mirror picked up your photographic profile quite distinctly.  :eyebrows:

Congratulations on your system!

That is a sweet space and set up Texendo!

@Profbratsch....those speakers are Devore Gibbon Nines.

Yeah whoops I noticed that too just after I posted.  And yes, those are Devore's Gibbon Nines.  The Red Wine components were voiced using those before the WLMs were available.  Yes, I think they are quite beautiful as well (and they're not the upgraded finish).  I've been quite pleased with them for over two years now... much longer than I've kept anything else.
