Jim (and his speakers) will be at the show in Northern California, in Emeryville 7/31 and 8/2.  Its a quick flight up to Oakland.  From there its a short drive to the show in Emeryville (15 minutes from the airport) or perhaps 30 minutes if you take BART to MacArthur station and a cab from there.

 You don't have to spend any time listening to the salk ST's  They are a great speaker!!!! I heard them at the RMAF driven by AVA gear. OUTSTANDING!!!! one of the very best I heard there. Can't go wrong buying these.

By the way, how is the ST compared to Dali speaker? Does anyone ever owns a Dali and also a SALK ST?
If you do, can you describe the characteristic of both speakers? Is Dali or Salk is more neutral and which brand is less bright? I am looking for speakers with tweeters like the Esotar in Dynaudio....very neutral and detail.
