I have ben receiving some inquires from Circle members about modified versions of the new ASL AV-20 DT 20 watt mono blocs.
  After spending some time with them I have found them to axcept upgrades very nicely. One of the things that must go is the Chinese 6L6 power tubes. I also personally prefer using a 12AT7 in place of the 12AX7 input/driver tube.

I will be offering modification for those who already own these units as well as brand new modified pairs for those who are interested in them. On new units, Response Audio will pick up the warranty for a period of 18 months.

As for an update fothose who requested to keep in touch, the "Music Bella" versions of the ASL tube mono bloc amplifiers are ready.

  I have been running both models for a few days now with various speakers and tubes installed.

  The Music Bella RAM20M units (Heavily modified ASL AV20) will come with either Svetlana or EH 6L6 power tubes and either JAN Philips 12AT7WC or Russian 12AX7 input tubes. These units rise far above their stock counterparts.

  The Musica Bella RAM40M units (heavily modified ASL SPM-40) withh come with Russian EL34 power tubes and Sovtek 6SN7 input tubes.
