I heard a pair at a local dealer powering Von Schweikert VR1's. The sound was very natural. The VR1's aren't much of a torture test for an amp but that's the extent of my exposure. I was very impressed. However, I did not compare anything to them. So, I can't comment on whether they're better or worse than the older Rogue's or anything for that matter... just that they were authoritative with control, had plenty of detail and still presented music in an involving, wonderful way.
