Double Ugly

My system is currently 2-ch only, but I've heard some still prefer the SACD hybrid.

What say ye?

Hybrid no doubt.  I just did the comparison two nights ago.  The hybrid is better.  I think it is a little more dynamic.

Hi,

I don't have an sacd player but keeping reading references about this cd on this forum.

Is it worthwhile buying this cd?  I haven't heard her music before and is it a good audiophile recording?

The recording & sound is superb, but the real highlight is the fantastic music.  If you've never heard her before you're in for a real treat!  There's not a single clinker on either of the discs of the 2 disc set, IMO.  Uncommonly good sound for a live recording.

Hello Rod,Thanks for asking. Nothing new to report...Hugh has to build it , that takes time, and he is running a business. I'm sure when it's completed , everyone will know. Here's a link for the last posts, in case others don't know what AKSA is :?.... http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=7663&start=20

Hi,

Thankx for the advice.

I bought the new Norah Jones cd yesterday.  It seems okay nothing special, her first album had better songs imo.

I'll check out the allison krauss cd next week.
