Larry:Up arrow works--thanks. Did you notice any improvement in sound quality with the WiFi card powered off?Chris H.
This probably is a digression - CBracer how do you like the sound of your setup ? I am running a Touch (with a Welborne labs power supply that is currently burning in) into a Panasonic SA-BX500 (via a zu ash cable) biamping a Silverline Sonatina speakers. I am thinking I am getting audiophile quality sound out of my setup. What about you ?
Well, I think it sounds pretty good. The biggest issue I have is that I am running two of the amps and therefore the volume gets off occasionally on one of the units. It is always the one on the right even though they are beside each other. I have not heard my speakers in my location with anything else so it is hard to comment. The one thing I think I notice is that the amps do not have a huge amount of bass control and the soundstage seems to get a little muddy when driven at higher levels. I have surmised and been told this is just due to a lack of power. I will tell you that I like the simplicity of not having a DAC or pre-amp in the system and will probably loose the disc player once I get a Touch. Which - thanks to the guys on here - I now know I can turn off the display on.Cheers,James
I..On 24/96 material the quality is stunning, I wish there were more Jazz released on 24/96. Having said that, my TT setup is still more pleasurable to me.BTW, up arrow on the remote reveals whats playing.
