I dropped my clarinet!

Yeah i did and now all it does is hum.It fell about a foot and i can see a small mark on it's trannie.
So where to start?
I'm going to disassemble it and repaint it and cut new hole's for the tube's.
I have looked at everything and it look's ok.The rca's are a bit loose. They are chassis mounted so that's ok i can tighten that.
I will swap out tubes first just to be sure It's not them. Then check voltage's inside.
Then what any idea's?
I'm worried i might of messed up one of the switches on the front as i have very large knob's on it sort of like old quad's.I cant see anything wrong.
i can get it to stop humming buy fooling with the rca's but i can't get any music?I can't really hear the switch working too when i change it.

I'd follow up w/ the RCA's to verify no contact w/ chassis - sounds as if something awry there. I might even just pull them out and re-assemble to be sure the insulator didn't get cut.

The usual way is to follow checking procedure which is described in the manual (after building). There shouldn't be something exotic I think - just one of the contacts.
