I realize that this thread is pretty old, and I may just start a new thread as well.
I was at a thrift store today and I picked up a Yamaha R-5 receiver and a set of Yamaha NS-325 speakers for $12.50. The receiver seems to work well after I cleaned it up a bit including the pots.  The speakers seem in pretty good shape except the cones are totally gone in both of them. I have never re-coned speakers before but though I would give it a go on these ones. I'm not sure exactly sure what I need to re-cone the speakers or where to look online for it or if it would even be worth doing. Much older responses to this thread seem to indicate the theses speakers are worth salvaging.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tom, do they need cones or refoamed? Try Parts Express. I have bought new refoam kits from them. They have work great so far. Heres the link
