Unexpected Muscle From Bryston B100 Integrated Amp
« on: 23 Apr 2010, 06:49 pm »
I heard a pair of Monitor Audio PL 200 speakers ( the ones in this month's Stereophile) driven by the Bryston B100 and using the Bryston BCD as a source.  Brilliant speakers BTW with a ribbon tweeter I actually liked. The 100 watt Bryston really kicked around the big floorstanders with surprising muscle and was extremely articulate.  I have auditioned some very expensive 100-125W integrateds recently and the B100 compares very favourably. So much so that I ordered one today :thumb: to go with my BCD-1.

Now I have to decide between the PMC OB1i and the Verity Audio Rienzi speakers ( and perhaps the MA PL 200's?!) to keep the Bryston gear company. Nice problem.
