1 gallon of a speaker

doesn't get any cheaper than this. cut out hole in 1 gallon plastic container from milk or water.
screw on small drivers you have lying around, hot glue or tape holes, and insert 98 cents led flash light from home depot.
put several of them around the house, equalize FR(lower treble) and invite girls to party :)

Another way to equalize them might be to fill them up part of the way. :thumb:

Nice.

Reminds me of my initial box for the FR125 drivers a couple of years ago - the cardboard they came in, tuned with a toilet paper roll!

I have found that you get lower frequency cabinet resonance with a cardboard box.  :)

Looks to me to be some sort of Aura sound driver, something like a $6 special with underhung voice coils and powerful magnets. 

If the drivers are driven high enough, does the jug expand or something?  Oh, I forgot, those Aura sound driver have sealed backs!

These "cabinets" would have to set the record for how much sound they generate versus the driver.   :lol:

Reminds me of college parties with girls (versus our nerd parties with lots of great stereo gear).   :oops:

Those are Aura NS3-193-8A drivers with partially extruded cone to increase rigidity. Actually these are my main speakers  :oops: I live temporarily in a very small apartment and I've made these temporary speakers. Plastic containers don't resonate as much as I expected. And most importantly, I can use LEDs with different colors to suit my mood or music style  :)
