Powervar info from tech support:

"We offer an EI core transformer in power conditioners up to 4 amps. On =
conditioners that draw greater than 4 amps, and less than 20 amps, we =
use a torroidal transformer. All of our products filter out high =
frequency noise to provide your electronic equipment with a clean =
distortion free sine wave. This can be easily verified with an =
oscilloscope.

Info from OneAC tech support:

For your PC360A:

1.  Does it output a sine wave or square wave? ANSWER:  It's just a power
conditioner and what you feed into it you get on the output. So AC
sinewave signal in Ac signal out.

2.  Please describe the protection I get normal mode vs common mode (or is it the same?).  ANSWER:  Normal-Mode noise is defined as the noise voltage measured between the current-carrying conductors,i.e.Live(Hot) and Neutral. Normal- Mode is sometimes known as Symmetric, Differential-Mode, Or Transverse-Mode. Common-Mode noise is
defined as the noise voltage measured between live and Neutral together,
and Ground. This is sometimes known as Asymmetric mode or Longitudal Mode.  Common-Mode is measured between Neutral And Ground.

3.  The XR45 operates with a two prong poliarized plug.  No ground plug.  Will the use of this 2 prong C7 style plug compromise the protection I might get from the PC360A? ANSWER:  No.

4.  This is a home theater.  How much accoustic noise does your unit make?  Does it hum or buzz?  ANSWER:  (Very Little)
Do you have a dBA spec on the noise?  ANSWER:  (No)
Would purchasing a larger ConditionOne unit and just using for the
130 watts reduce the accoustic noise I might experience? ANSWER:  (No)

5.  Your datasheet is not very clear on what exactly a Virtual Kelvin Ground is.  Can you send more info on what that feature does? ANSWER:  Well the advantages of a power conditioner with a virtual kelvin ground is excellent normal mode and connon mode noise rejection, excellent energy transfer, no over-sizing necessary, no inductive kickback, stable under dynamic loads and notching and efficient and reliable.

I hope this helps. call us if you have any questions 1-800-327-801 ext 3

I prefer ONEAC over PowerVar.

The big ONEACs have published noise reduction specs and they are very good, but for audio band noise reduction I use my Clear Image T4, which had the custom toroids specifically designed for such task.  Still, my big ONEAC benefitsin no small measure from adding an Adio Power parallel filter.
