A white spot appeared on my Samsung HL-S4676S DLP TV 2 weeks ago, now there is 2, so I got out my paper work and my 3 year extended warranty expired in February 2010! My luck!
So I went online and I found a bulletin from Samsung on another forum regarding this and so I called Samsung and my gosh, I got an actual person in minutes, she check my serial number and it is on the list and within 1.5 hours a local authorized repair technician called me! He said he has received his instructions, he ordered the replacement something and will be out within a couple weeks to repair it at NO CHARGE! Not my luck! Very nice guy! I cant believe it!
So, I thought I would pass this information on in case other people are having this issue! I have read the white spots just keeps multiplying, getting worse. I guess we cant post the link to the forum, can I say what forum?
