I need to free up some finances, so I'm selling some audio gear. For starters, I have 3 piano black ACI Emerald XLs that I used in a 3.1 bedroom setup. These have been very underused in my bedroom, so I moved the L/R pair to my desktop for music only use, and I'm putting the single "center" up for sale.
I bought the single speaker direct from ACI as a b-stock, although there is absolutely nothing wrong with it - no blemishes that I could find. It was in like new condition when sold to me in Aug 09, and is still in excellent condition, both cosmetically and functionally. At most you might find some very fine surface swirls in the piano black, but you'd need to be up close in direct light to find anything.
It didn't include factory packaging or a manual, but Mike packed it very well for shipping (same type of foam as in factory packaging), and I still have that packaging. It does include a grill, and the cotton "shirt" was also included to protect the finish.
Price is $250 + shipping. I have a FedEx account, so that cuts the shipping cost a little, and I'll only charge you the actual cost. Payment via paypal and I'll cover the fee.
I love these speakers, and have a hard time letting even the single go. That said, they have been underused and are too good of a speaker to just sit and wait for the occasional movie. Given that the L/R are still likely to not see alot of use on my desktop, and I could use the money, I will consider selling all 3 as a set. I will NOT sell the L/R pair without the 3rd speaker.
The L/R pair were purchased used in Aug '09 from the original owner who had them about a year, and are also in excellent shape. Again, the only cosmetic issues you may find are slight surface swirls in the finish if you inspect in direct lighting. Just to be safe, I'll call them an 8/10. I have the original factory packaging, grills, speaker "shirts", and manual.
I'll give some further consideration to a price for the set of 3 if there is any interest. I'll get some pics up in the next few days.
