This came out in 2006 but just showed up at my video store. Maybe everybody's already seen it and commented on it? If not this is a historical drama starring Viggo Mortensen set in Spain and Flanders. Visually it is like a Goya painting, quite stunning. Quite graphically violent. A little slow moving and disconnected. I rented this to pass the time while I nurse my back and I stopped the movie to have lunch and didn't finish it, which I kind of regret now. So you can say I'm kind of ambivalent about the film. Trailer
