When will the USB cables be offered and in what lengths?  I have a 5M generic brand now and I am getting a lot of white noise with this cable.  I would like to correct the problem with the Nuforce cable if possible.

USB cables are not designed to operate beyond 3 meter.  Naturally, at 5m, you may expect some issues.

Shorter lengths, e.g. 0.5m, would be good as well. AudioQuest have some nice looking USB cables out not but they start at 1.5m which is too long for my laptop + USB DAC.

Could you please mention what length USB cables you will sell?

I am trying to find a upgrade USB cable for my system and some cable manufacturers are starting to release USB cables now i.e. AudioQuest. But the lengths start at 1.5m which is too long for my uDAC->Laptop or Icon->Desktop PC. I am hoping for somewhere around 0.75m or even as short as 0.5m.

Could you also post pictures of the sample cables? Cab you say if they are are they coloured? Braided etc?

I just scored a used Mac iBook a few days ago and started my first computer as source journey. Can anyone tell me what will be special about Nuforce's usb cable?

We haven't received the production USB cable yet. The prototype cable doesn't have the nice jacket and connector case so a photo won't help.
Basically a good USB cable at this price point (est $29) uses high purity copper and better shielding.
