Music with "Q" Sound Recording
« on: 14 Mar 2010, 12:50 pm »
I got a new amp recently and it reveals better detail on these type recordings.
I have listened to Roger Waters Amused to Death, Fever Ray and some other newer releases where the soundstage is way off beyond the speakers. I would like to know of any other recordings that have this kind of sound.

Cheers,
JT

Sting's The Soul Cages uses Q-sound.

So does Q's Juke Joint by Quincy Jones. Lots of good tracks here and lots of guest artists. My favorite track has got to be then 16 year old Brandy doing Michael Jackson's Rock with You but there are other notables from Phil Collins, Barry White and a bang up job by Brian McKnight, his brothers (literally) of Moody's Mood for Love capped off with a solo by none other than James Moody himself.
