I know Randy and have been to his house.  those speakers will be in excellent condition and well cared for.  He is a big fan of Salk speakers.  The first Salks i ever heard were in his home and I was sold.

Now down to $2500 for all 8 pieces!  That's less than the price of the front 3 pieces.  If anyone wants to go in I'd be interested in the surrounds or even the towers.  But you have to go get them!!

I'm not so sure.  The text of the ad still describes the 7.1 system, but now the title of the ad has changed to "Salk SongTower 5.0 speaker system".

Perhaps the second set of surrounds and subwoofer are no longer part of the deal?

The text has plenty of detail!  Unfortunately, that detail still describes the 7.1 system.

If the second set of SongSurrounds and sub are no longer included in the deal, $2500 for everything isn't exactly a "jump on this now!!" type deal.

At that price you it would be like getting the one pair of Song Surrounds for free while paying full list price for a used pair of SongTowers and a SongCenter.

I have sold one set of surrounds and one sub.  I have the others (towers, one pair of surrounds, and center) priced at 75% of current retail.  If the ad runs out without selling anything else selling I will list seprately at the same prices (75% of retail-rounded).  The towers are a little nicer than the normal towers and are actually the ones shown on the web site (curly walnut), but they do not have grills (and were mfg that way).  The center and surrounds are for all practical purposes new as I have maybe two or hours or listening on them.  I am basically selling all my speakers except my HT-3/HT-1 set-up and Earl Geddes's speakers.  I think they represent as good as I need although they are totally different in their sound.

I was fortunate enough to speak to Randy about buying a pair of the surrounds and the sub.  When he decided to give me the opportunity, I jumped on it.  I am the lucky guy who is now impatiently waiting for the arrival of a pair of song surrounds and the Sub.

I feel a little bad selling Song series as they are great speakers and I enjoyed helping Jim out by demoing them, but I am getting old and it is time to start getting rid of an extra room full of speakers and equipment.
