My Vintage PACO-Jensen System
« on: 20 Nov 2011, 01:56 pm »
I'll listen to a occasional CD but most of the listening is vinyl, off the computer through a Fubar Dac, or a Sansui TU-S77X Tuner as its easier to lean over and press a button to change the station. (I have a Rotel RT-2100 on another system). My favorite system is a tube PACO SA-40 and Jensen TR-10 Triettes speakers. I also have a Pilot Console with the AA-903B amp that I enjoy. For me it all comes down to the type of music I am listening to at that time. The KLH 6 that I no longer have were perfect to recapture that old Doo-Wop sound and the Spicas paired with custom speakers are a all around nice setup. The 3 GR Research AV/1+ are ok for HT paried with a HSU VTF2 Sub
Not wanting to start any arguement but I'll rate the PACO ahead of my Fisher 400.
