Has anyone listened to and compared these 2 tubes? Are the GL´s worth their premium price? Are the Tung Sol´s a good way to go, at half the price of the GL´s? They both get good reviews at The Tube Store. I am referencing current production.

I never listened to the Gold Lion's, but LOVE Tung Sol tubes.

Never understood the appeal of the GL kt77s. I heard them and wasn't impressed one bit. Their sound is very bland and unexciting to my ears. I would buy the Gold Lion KT66s if you want a great tube that won't break the bank.
