Symmetrica arrays, custom subwoofers, four S6 surrounds, and Sardonyx center channel (sorry - forgot to get a pic of the CC) ...

What veneer is this? Looks like cherry or walnut?

P.S., the new website color scheme makes my eyes bleed  :o

P.P.S. the text on the Warranty page is totally unreadable, shows black on black in Firefox.

Experimenting with the site as I update it. The colors now should be more acceptable.  :)

The veneer is Pau Ferro (also called Santos Rosewood or Bolivian Rosewood).

Much better! Are you discontinuing the MF7? It's not on the monitors page. If so then that makes me sad

Thanks - I'm trying to improve the site by adding more information, making it easier to navigate, and the pages more uniform. Any input is welcome.

The MF7 is still available but was moved to the custom center channel page. Because we do such a wide variety of designs it's difficult to list everything on the main pages without confusing customers. Everything is built to order and available unless:

1) a supplier discontinues a driver

2) a similar model has become more popular and there's little interest in the older design

3) we have something that's better in performance for the same or less $

Some of our models have been around for five years or more and still sell which isn't very common for high end speakers. It's also easier for us to keep a design available because we're not concerned about building several sets and having them kept in a warehouse while we pay for keeping the extra inventory.

2 beefs with the website as it stands -

1. On the monitors and floorstanders page you can't click through to a page with details about the design
2. On the gallery page, instead of using thumbnails, you've simply embedded a larger image and forced it to be a certain height/width. This is bad for page load times since you're unnecessarily loading the larger image. What I would do is generate some 150x150px thumbnails and use an AJAX popup for a larger image. Something like this:

http://www.xul.fr/ajax/ajax-image-gallery.html

Or something simpler than AJAX would just be to launch the larger image in a new window with JavaScript.

Yes, I'm aware of the link issue and adding them this morning (stopped short at 2am last night LOL). I understand your suggestion for the gallery page but the software is limited and I'm certainly not a web designer. What I plan to do there is compress the images to make the page load faster. I use Roadrunner and judge the page loading based on how fast it performs for my ISP.

This was a home theater that we installed for a customer in Bethesda. Moon Audio provided front end equipment from Cary Audio and Marantz. Thanks to a AC member who referred us for the system.  :thumb:
