FS: GR-Research OB-5 speakers - sold

GR-Research OB-5 for sale, reduced to $675.

The speakers sound great, absolutely no issues. I built these cabinets for the kit I bought two years ago from GR-Research. They include no rez dampening treatment on the internal walls. Also included are solid maple speaker bases with spikes.

The cabinets are very presentable, but are  DIY. I used raw  heavily figured maple for the veneer.   Available for local pickup and audition near Milwaukee, Wisconsin zip 53051. I will deliver up to 100 miles, including the Chicago area.

Someone needs to buy these speakers, they are beautiful and at that price they are a bargain.

As a former owner of OB-5, i can vouch for their quality. Excellent speakers! Prepare to be blown away if all you've heard are box speakers.

As a reference i have the same speaker with 2 extra bass drivers (OB/7) and i was using the 60wpc ClassD Audio amp and it drove them very nicely.  :eyebrows:

Roscoeiii, I used Wright Sound Mono 25 tube amplifiers with these speakers, which have  about 25 watts per channel. My room is on the small side, approximately 17 by 15 feet.
