uDac and Windows XP

uDac and Windows XP

Hi All,

I am more a Mac than a windows user. The uDac is brilliant on my Mac but when I plug it into Windows XP it is just a poor cousin in comparison to the mac. I have checked that all the drivers are updated and that hardware acceleration is on etc.

I am playing through iTunes. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be, or is it just a rubbish operating system.

iTunes maybe?

I've got my uDac playing through Foobar with ASIO4ALL, and I must say it sounds great.

I use iTunes on the Mac as well so it is not that. It will be a low level OS issue I believe. The Mac is audibly better and by a good degree as well. The uDac on the pc is still very good just not in the same league as the Mac.
