Ruben,

Great work...gave me some ideas for my future V1/Super V design if I ever get going on that HT build.  :duh:  Next time I'm up in the Denver area I'd love to come and visit. I'm down in Colorado Springs.

Ha! I listened to the samples. All I'm gonna say is that my N3TLs won't be playing "Warm Leatherette" any time soon...

OK, the enclosures arrived this week so I got right to work and installed the drivers and xovers. Placed the speakers in the same location where the N3S's were placed which is 42 inches from front wall to back of the speaker. Fired them up without subwoofers to see how they did on their own. Well, there's no question that the N3TL has more bass output than the N3S. I moved them to 36 inches out from the wall. Both bass and soundstage improved so I'll leave them here for a while and tweek on the fly.

About the quality of the enclosures: OUTSTANDING! YES I AM YELLING!

I'm telling you guys and gals right now that the work Ruben does is outstanding. He custom built them exactly as I asked. Provided regular updates and great service throughout the process.

I added some pics so you can see how they look. Please forgive the quality as I am no better at photography than I am at woodworking

BTW, you can see my Magnepan MMGs in the background. Hmmmm, if I sell those, I can start my servo sub project sooner.....

Wow they look great in your room.  It is shocking how much bass they can pump out.  Just imagine when you get your servo sub.  Is that 36" inches from the front or rear?  :thumb:

Thanks. Yes, a servo sub is in my future  :D

Speakers are toed in about 15 degrees. That's 36 inches to the closest rear corner of the speaker.
