Well folks, there have been numerous inquiries on the Ming-Da MC84-A EL84 amp. To get one out there for audition to circle members, I am offering the first modified unit at a discounted "beta" price and will modify one per the purchaser's desires.

Regular price on this unit is $1,050 and I am letting one of the first units go for $759 with full 1 year warranty. PIC below.
Any questions, please feel free to ask here or in a PM.

Hi Bill,

Hate to go off topic (slightly), but have you evaluated the Ming-da 845 based SET amp?   Are you going to be offering/modding it?

HI Brad,
No, I have nott yet had the time to evaluate the 845 based pieces. I actually have had the 805AA integrated unit for 3 weeks now and the lack of time has not even allowed me to turn this one on yet. Another reason is due to the lack of some information we still need from the factory regarding some biasing numbers and instructions. These are extremely high current units and we need to know all the facts before releasing them into consumers hands.
Being so busy with modifications including and the Extreme ASL Hurricanes mod (which are extremely time consuming) which I am now working on, I have only had time to evaluate a few of the modified Ming-Da units.
I am also in the middle of evauluating a new, exotic capacitor that is due to hit the market shortly. I have a set of these caps in my personal, custom built Signature SE502S and also installing them into the Hurricane mono blocs. The only reason I mention these new caps is because they will be available in the no-holds-bar Signature Reference versions of some of the Ming-Da units.
