This year, I'm thankful for my pair of HT2-TLs.  (Of course I have my priorities straight!  :D )
Happy Turkey Day to all of the Salk Folks.

This holiday, I'm thankful for this Mobile Fidelity recording of Pink Floyd's Meddle (especially Echoes) I'm listening to now.  My STRTs are saying "Finally you are playing something cool!".

Have a good holiday everyone.  Don't ignore your babies this weekend when they feel like singing.  :D

Happy Thanksgiving all!

As we look back on this past year, we certainly have a lot to be thankful for.

Despite a somewhat sluggish economy, our business grew by 50%.  We can be thankful for that.

We introduced quite a few new models which were very positively received.  And for that we can be thankful as well.

But those are not the things I am most thankful for today.

I am thankful for John, Teresa, Ammar, Juan Luis, Sam, Jessica, Mary, Dennis, Jeff, Paul and the many others who share our dream and work tirelessly to turn it into reality on a daily basis.

When the dust is flying and the hours are long, we sometimes wonder if the effort is worth it. Sure, we love building beautiful speakers.  But the motivation that provides only goes so far.

When an owner calls to thank us for his new speakers and gets choked up describing his initial reaction, we understand why we are here.  When a new owner emails to say his spouse, who couldn't care less about audio, brags to neighbors about her new speakers, we share his sense of joy.  And when an owner who has had his speakers for years calls just to say hello, we know what this business is all about.

As we pause and reflect this day, we are most grateful for friends, old and new, that this business has brought our way.  Thanks to each and every one of you for making this a most enjoyable year.  You are the reason we are most thankful today.

Thanksgiving has become an anniversary of sorts since my Songtowers arrived the day after Thanksgiving in 2008. I am certainly thankful for Jim and all of those who have made it possible for me to enjoy such a wonderful product. Even after a year, I still marvel at how they sound each time I turn them on. It's like I just got them last week.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  At our dinner today for 11 after a prayer, each of us commented on something we were especially thankful for.  Some comments were serious and others humorous without being disrespectful.  Our younger daughter was thankful for a good job and my wife was thankful neither of us needs a job anymore and have good health.  Overall it's been a good year but with some sorrow from having lost relatives and pets, some expected and others not.  I hope to be able to continue contributing to Salk Sound for a long time.
