Hi Guys/James
I must say to you first off James.......BRAVO,BRAVO!!
Although Bryston and PMC went through some difficult times together,YOU still take the time to promote the PMC speaker, you don"t have to,but you do...and i am sure i am not alone when i say ""THANKS"".
If anyone has ever read my words or spoke with me ,,you will know i do not have the time or patients for .....""SALESMAN NONSENSE"",whether it be a person trying to convince me why a new cap and coil is worth an extra $3000 or why i should buy a certain brand or model, unfortunately,I am a trial and error kind of person.
I recently visited James and had the honour to hear his setups and i must say he really is genuine...this is rare!!!!!I will not go on about this mans love and passion for music, because we all know already and its all true...I do understand this is his lifestyle and i donnot take this out of the equation,But for a man to listen to you is RARE AS HELL!!

Back to the subject at hand,
First off i am still wating for your MB2(non i) review you promised so as to compare to the ""i"" series later and secondly
WHATS NEXT??
I do love reading your PMC speaker reviews...Its not a huge sales splurrr, its a simple comparison to real world home enviroments and from my visit you have proven this.I remember your floodlight comparison with the thiels, this was something i related to right away...I am a lucky person to have one of the fairest audio companies in my backyard(well 3hrs away) with a true audiophile on the bridge.
thanks John

Some more butter for James as he reminds me of this piano player I met years ago.Truly professional in every way.whether it's asking the simplest question
or even taking some nonsense remarks,James won't allow himself to go down the
low road. Some folks, especially some high horse musicians, wouldn't give you the time of day. That keyboard player(who wore a suit)was doing a concert in a  couple of hours, who helped me haul all my road cases into a rubby hotel and didn't think anything about it,came natural I believe.James does the same thing hear and I'm sure off the site, if you have the pleasure of meeting James as I had, you'll know right away,a true professional.
Any how i'm sure James doesn't need to hear this over+over again.
I'd have to say just, THANKS for being on site :thumb:..

Can any of the pmc fans please enlighten us out here on the west coast as to why there is no such speaker as pmc? James offered a very abstract answer but there is no real clearification as to the lack of a dealership here. I, as well as others, would like to know just what was this" hard time" that Bryston and PMC went through?!?  :dunno:

I'm definitely not understanding what you mean by "no such speaker as pmc."   As in, you haven't heard of them?,  or,  you can't find a dealer?   To the best of my knowledge PMC's USA office is in California.  If you go to the PMC website they have a section for looking up your closest dealer....

Sorry, I was being sarcastic due to the lack of pmc here. We did have a dealer some years ago but whatever the problems were with Bryston and PMC they gave it up.! Precor in Toronto has them but that's a long drive to audition. :bawl: Vancouver needs a dealer but I guess, regretfully, there isn't enough interest in these great pruducts. Perhaps James can convince Commercial to try again.

If you would be willing to buy without listening first,  don't let the distance scare you off.   A couple years ago I bought a demo pair of PMC's and had them shipped all the way from NY state to my home here in western Alaska.  Cost just a couple hundred bucks and no problems with shipping.   So maybe shipping from Edmonton to Vancouver wouldn't be too bad (?)

Yep, just like Sarah Palin,  err,  I mean Tina Fey.   Actually there really is (at least) one place in Alaska that you can see Russia,  quite easily too since it's only 1 mile away.  Called Little Diomede island and there is a village there  :duh:
