FS: Zu Druid mk IV (purchased Mar 2009)

I purchased these matte black Zu Druid mk IV speakers directly from Zu in January, 2009 and received them in early March...They were in my system until September and were played gently and sparingly with a pair of 1.5W Welborne DRD45 amps...Excellent speakers, perhaps a bit bass shy as I felt the need to supplement the bottom end with a single sub...At the end of the day, I returned to my Bastani open baffle speakers which i think work better in my atypical listening area...The Zu Druids are incredibly efficient and in like new condition....I'd give them a conservative 9/10 rating...I have all of the original packing materials, boxes, binding post cleaner, manual, etc.

For more information, see the Zu website: http://www.zuaudio.com/druid.html

This speaker has won tons of awards as well:
? Audiotechnique loudspeaker of the Decade
? 6moons.com Lunar Eclipse Award!
? Positive Feedback Online Writers? Choice Award
? HiFi Would Five Stars
? Audiophiliac / c|net Loudspeaker of the Year

If you have any questions, let me know...I'm in SF, CA for a local pickup to forgo shipping costs...

I'd like to get $1750 for them plus shipping (guesstimate $70 for two boxes)...If you use PayPal, I'll also split the 3% transaction costs...

Thanks for looking...

Ba-rump...No interest from the SET crowd?

My plan is to out them on audiogon this weekend if I don't receive any interest here...

Bump before the weekend...They're also posted on audiogon but I'd be willing to work with any AC'ers on a deal for these speakers...I just hate having them sit around not making beautiful music...

have a great weekend everyone....

Also, see my AC ads for a Welborne Ultrapath battery-powered remote contrul tube pre-amp and a modified Promitheus non-OS SS DAC...Need to raise some money for the holidays...
