Anybody that has speakers of 91db or better then this is for you. If you are looking for a truly musical experience for under a grand then this is what's up
I have in stock 9 of the new stereo version of the battery amp. :D I have 4 Curly maple amps and 1 Quilted maple amp in stock ready to ship. I have also 2 others in quilted maple that are spoken for and 1 in purple heart that is spoken for. I have sold 1 in rosewood and I will have another in rosewood in a few days.
This is a world's first product of it's kind and it performs just exactly like that world class! :green: Like I said if your speakers are at least 91 db sens, then this tiny little giant will knock your socks off! I am using a pair of Danny's older Alpha LS speakers(91db) and my smallish room and I can very easily listen in the mid 90's spl without any hint of strain or harshness at all. I don't know how else to describe this amp. If you have your own 12 volt battery and a charger for it then you can try one of these in your system for a period of 1 week just for the shipping both ways. If you like it pay me $995 and keep it or send it back.
I will only send out 2 units at a time that's the reason for only allowing a week for your pleasure. If you do return it, I would like to know the reason.
I would also expect it to be taken good care of while in your possession and repacked as it was when you received it. How bout it, any one up for a really good listening experience? Remember these are ready to go immediately! :thumb: Serious folks only please

I'm really glad to see that these are going to go out.  Having heard these amps, I am eager to see the response.  In my opinion, these are seriously good amps at a very cheap price.  Gary has another hit on his hands.  :thumb:

So given the fact it is battery powered, what does this mean to a waveform, or the performance of the output since there is no 120 V AC and large transformers?  What's the inherit benefit from a technical perspective?  We all expect it to be very quiet so that's not the question I'm posing.

Typical sexy Gary stuff.  And they look like they are built like mini tanks like all your other gear. :thumb:

I would like to try one.
Owned your preamp ones. It was a fine piece at great price.
Is it possible to get one for upcoming NYAR "Rave" by 27th?
I wonder how your amp compares to a pair of my Decware monos which I am looking to replace.

What's the power output and, in general, time between charges?

Looks like one of these paired with one of RWA's new battery power supplies will be a smooth combo

Mariusz, if you can have your own battery and a good charger for it, I can have one of these for you easily by the 27th. :D
Second question: Answer is 15 watts cont./chan 30 watts for 2-3 seconds.
The time between charges depends on you . The larger the battery the longer you can play. The amp uses a bit over 5 amps continuously, so roughly 1 5AH battery would last 1 hour. I use a single 100 AH battery and I can easily play 12 hours without the battery getting to close to the 11.5 volt minimum. Red Wines battery packs would work, but play time would only be a few hours and then a long recharge
