I am pretty convinced that I have all my bases covered with the SA-232 and SA-260...if there is anything, I might try a Timebandit 2A3 I have my eye on.

I had changed my mind and kept them and have been listening non stop to these babies for a few days..and they are simply awesome.

I will include good ol' USA stock tubes with plenty of life in them..no garbage tubes.

There is absolutely no hum. buzz or any signs of gremlins at work.

Tube complement is: 6L6, 6SN7, 5U4....quality speaker binding posts and RCA's as well as a gain adjustment in the rear with on/off toggle switch.

The amps run in triode mode. the output transformer is configured for 8 ohms, but provides for 4, 8, 16 and 100 ohm outputs.

Classic Williamson circuit based on Pilot AA-901. Point to point construction. Sturdy 10" x 17" steel Hammond enclosures.

Hammond power transformers and chokes (chokes below deck)

Excellent vintage Stancor (Chicago) potted output transformers

Oil caps in the power supply (the big cans poking out the tops)

Hovland Musicap coupling caps, Gold plated isolated RCA inputs and 5-way binding posts.

Quality locking hum and bias pots

External test points for setting bias (written instructions included)

Mirror imaged construction, vibration isolation washers under transformers.

800.00 plus shipping...which should run around 60.00 for 2 boxes within the USA.
