I heard him interviewed on WCPE, the local classical radio station.

I have the Art Tatum record they did, I prefer the original, bad sound and all.
On that interview I did hear some of the Rach record, it seemed listenable enough on a slow piece. I've never heard the Gould, but I prefer his 1981 version anyway.

I guess so, at least for Tatum...
The technology is very cool. I hope it will get better and better over time. It would be especially cool to buy those MIDI files for MIDI player piano.
