Offered for sale is my Quicksilver full-function, all-tube preamp. This is the later version with a single 5AR4 rectifier (Mullard) instead of the dual 6X4 version. All tubes are in good condition and test very strong. I have had this for about ten years and replaced it with a highly modified McCormack preamp.
This has a standard MM phono stage, inputs for CD, Tuner, Aux, and Video, as well as a tape loop. Conveniences include a selector for mono, left/right stereo reverse, and left or right only plus a 20dB volume reduction switch along with the mute switch and a switch for the outlets on the back that allow one to turn on your Quicksilver (or other) amps from the preamp.
Excellent physical and operational condition, this was the center of my system for most of a decade before upgrading. It needs a new home so someone can enjoy it. $750 OBO + shipping
