Hi guys,

I'm selling my rare and modified EFE T50 tower loudspeakers.... they are around 20 months old, with no nicks on the beautiful piano black finish.  Ed Frius of EFE has built quite the reputation and almost cult following over the years with his line of products and modifications which are sold only through referral and word of mouth. 

The T50's use twin 6.5" midrange drivers with a 1" soft dome tweeter and a single 10" bass driver in a rear ported configuration.  Even though rear-ported, they are very insensitive to room placement and throw a very wide sweet spot.... big room filling sound.

The stock T50"s are very impressive, but I wanted to see how much more was available and so after consultation with Ed, we arrived at these modifications:

DH labs silver Q-10 and T-14 internal wiring.
Twin pairs of bi-wireable Eichmann cable pod binding posts.
Mills resistors.
Jantzen foil inductors
Clarity caps on the midrange and tweeters
Solen fast caps on the bass
Sonic barrier internal damping.... similar to black hole
VMPS rear mounted ambiance tweeters

These modified speakers are in a COMPLETELY different performance league to the standard speakers in every way.... and the stock units are untouchable in their price range...!

The cost of the upgraded components was $1023.99 and the ambiance tweeters adds another $249.  The stock speakers cost $2890 making a total outlay of $4162.99 without labor.

I would like $1895 obo. for these remarkably capable and beautiful speakers that perform WAY above their price range.... an absolute bargain IMHO.  I don't know where else you could get this level of performance for this little money...!  I would also like to do business with someone in the metropolitan Phoenix AZ area if possible for easy speaker demo and pick up of these large and heavy shipping boxes.

Tricky with not widely-known gear.... but if someone was to come and listen, these bargains would be snapped up...!   aa
