What's with the letter K? You had Katrina, we (and Vietnam) got Ketsana.

We're okay Gavin but a lot of our friends did not fare so well losing everything but the shirts on their backs. We're resilient folks though and we'll all get through this.

Thanks for the prayers! We were about to get hit a scant 5 days later by a potential CAT 5 Typhoon named Parma. Miraculously the sucker did a U-turn!!!!!

Hi Jack,

Good to know you are save.
We have been thinking a lot about your area.

Good to hear you and Keith got through it.  I hope things get back to normal soon.  In the meantime, keep yourself and those VR9s safe and dry.

Parma did a u-turn and went back....and stayed for a while.....a lot of farms/crops wrecked...a lot of people lots their homes and some family members. One of our big dams had to release water as it got on its critical level.  The rainwater level was 500mm of rainfall.

We might be expecting shortage of food early next year.

Please pray for our people....prayers do miracles.

Thanks and kind regards,
Joey

Hi guys. Thanks for the prayers. Phils now on rebuilding mode.  Looks like it will be a lot of work. I count myself extremely lucky after seeing the devastation wrought by the last two typhoons. After two weeks of what seemed like h*ll, looks like fatigue has caught up with our friend JackD and he's now home sick.  Get well bother!

Sick but not home bro. Stood close to 6 hours on plenary debates sponsoring geez I lost count on how many agencies followed by marathon meetings. Nice solid 13 hour day with a fever that was 40 degrees at the start. Funny thing is my fever was gone by 9pm    I wish I could just rest by firing up the ol' system but my flu has me half deaf.  :(

Hi Jack,

Stay calm and recover with a nice peace of music.
Lamm's will warm you anyway.
