Jim Salk should be bringing his own current Ultra amplifier, preamp, and DAC with him when he comes to Oregon.

With any luck, I should be able to send an Insight Control Amplifier along with him too after the RMAF show.  However, due to a sudden rush in business and because one of my builders is off running around in Yurp for a couple three weeks, I just won't have any other spare equipment to send out there right now.  My paid customers seem to want their stuff first.

All I can say is WOW

I have to hand it to Frank Van Alstine for making some of the best gear I've seen.  High quality that's not overstated.

I can see a rack full of that gear in my future. (don't tell my wife)

I was uber-impressed (makes me feel younger to talk that way  ) by your gear at the Oregon GTG!  The DAC, pre, and amp that Jim used were phenomenal performers.  Jim's HT4's absolutely disappeared, as did the front-end equipment while moving the music, and nothing but the music, right along.  The experience was seriously thrilling.

Majorloser had the perfect phrase for them...'not overstated'.  I don't want my electronics to provide any architectural statements.  Just drive the sound, please.  And AVAHifi does it in spades. 

Thanks for sending along the gear.  It was appreciated and enjoyed by many!  (We'll talk when the lottery truck stops by!)
