If you are familiar with the tubes that Tektronix rebranded with their label for use in their electronic test equipment, you probably also know they had the most rigorous tube testing protocol to qualify all their tubes. It is said they rejected 99% of all tubes they got from manufacturers like GE, Sylvania, RCA, etc.
This is an absolutely NOS matched pair, 1960s vintage of 12ax7s in their original Tektronix boxes. These are super low noise and microphonics and very carefully mached. Would be excellent for use in a phono stage such as the Minimax, which is what I originally bought them for. Will sacrifice for $125 as I no longer have any need for these tubes and need to clean out the tube box of things I won't/can't use.
