Attaching the JPS wire in an N3

The JPS wire seems extremly stiff, and I'm concerned it will bend or break the terminal of the drivers when I put everything in.

Is there a "hot setup" for this?

I can think of a few approaches, for example strain relieving the wire using the driver basket (wouldn't work for the tweeter, of course), or more likely soldering leads of a more flexible wire (20 gauge solid core) then attaching the JPS wire to that.

Is there a preferred approach?  Would the 20 gauge solid core wire defeat the purpose of the ultra thick JPS wire?

Anyway, thanks in advance.

We use all JPS Aluminata and have velcro straps holding the wire as strain relief.

Your runs won't be long enough nor heavy enough to pull on the drivers. In fact this stuff is just stiff enough that you can straighten out a 3' long piece of it and point it straight up and it will hold itself up without falling over. So it will pull less on the drivers than a limp multi-stranded type.

I love using this stuff. Where ever you put it is where it stays. If there is any concern then just loop it over each of the braces. I also twist positives and negatives together into twisted pairs running to each driver.

Piece of cake...
