This is an awesome opportunity to get an incredible sounding amplifier.

I have had the pleasure to listen to this specific Carina and it is one serious piece of tube gear.

The sound quality is amazing and the build quality is stellar.

Pardales is a great person to work with and takes very good care of his equipment.

I wish I was in the market for a new amp.  Someone is going to get a deal on a special amplifier.   :thumb:

No offense, but is $200 off list price a good deal?   :o

Damn...I've been selling my stuff way too cheap!

Yes, it is.  This thing is built to last several lifetimes, is a no compromises design, and the wait for a new one can be quite long.  Plus it's broken in.

Handmade products like this, especially with their reputation for superb sonics, hold their value very well.  There is probably no better SE EL84 amp available anywhere.

And pardales is exceptionally great to work with.

Alrighty then......I stand corrected.

My apologies to the seller for my off the mark comment.

I guess the forces of the marketplace and how quickly it actually sells will tell us how good it truely is.

Knowing Pardales as I do, I imagine that this amp still has that "new car smell" to it.  He takes meticulous care of his equipment.  Frankly, if my financial circumstances been different, none of y'all would have seen this ad at all -- I would have scooped this amp up before it got listed.

Someone should take the plunge soon -- you have nothing to lose but your wanderlust for overhyped and underperforming boutique audio equipment.

Any keel-shaped structure can be called a "carina." There's one in the brain, at the bottom of the trachea and even in the vagina!

Thought this might be important.

Hmmm... so, I'm assuming this has sold. Am I correct, sir?

If the guidelines to the Trading Post were followed, you would know.

I never understood why folks blank out their ads once the sale is made!

Stealth transaction.  Gear details and asking price becomes a big secret.  Like its some kindof clandestine operation.

Seems kindof silly.

Welcome to the Trading Post in AudioCircle.

Please update your item listing when it is sold.  Do not erase the ad.  Old ads help other sellers set a selling price.

Just a reminder, please do not delete the information in your for sale ads.  I have had a number of people tell me the archives are a good resource to research pricing, etc.
