TV turnoff pop through external speakers
« on: 1 Oct 2009, 09:14 pm »
I have the variable audio output from my TV connected to a powered speaker.  When I turn the TV off, I get a loud pop through the speakers.

Would inline coupling caps fix this?  If so, what value?

The TV is a RCA (Thomsen) DLP and the speaker is a ZVOX.

Is that ZVOX speaker wireless?

Nope, has a stereo minijack input.  Position it like a center channel speaker and it projects a nice wide psuedo-surround image.

Amp should always be turned on last, and turned off first.
