I have been waiting patiently for my Kismet Monos to break in.  Three months of playing them, maybe 1000 hours later , I realized tonight while listening that they are broken in!  Wow!  The sound reached the best they have sounded so far.  If you get the Kismets (which I HIGHLY recommend) be patient.  They are well worth the wait.  Thanks Klaus!  If you ever are in the SF Bay Area stop by.  You will be amazed how well these pair with the Steelhead and V3s. The Kismet amps are amazing!

I know Klaus makes deals, and all that. But since it's not posted on the website yet, what's the ballpark figure for a pair of these? I'm especially interested in having Klaus build me a pair inside my Stratos cases, since I figure that'd save a significant amount of gelt. But I don't want to waste Klaus' time by calling to inquire if it's way outta my league.

I think they were about $5k give or take...  As usual, when you see them in the flesh (raw metal) you wonder how he does it compared to the big jewelry boys.

          I dont believe its that much if you can get Klaus to do it in the Stratos chassis. Best bet is to talk to him, I am sure he can work something out for you
