Here is a very good example of the highly reguarded tuner from the 1970's.(8/10) The front and top is in very good cosmetic shape 8/10 but the sides and back have some marks 7/10.
My reference tuner for the past couple of years; it offers an extremely clean and noise free sound. Nice extension in the top, deep &accurate bass, slightly lean but thats a fair trade off for the excellent transparency and articulation that it allows. It possibly could use an alignment, but I get excellent and clear reception with only a set of TV rabbit ears on all stations up to 50 miles away here in northern, Ohio.
I'm told that this is a prime candidate for mods, but to my knowledge none have ever been done.
Even though I've been very pleased with the sound, I should say that the signal strength meter works, but the signal lock light has never come on. I have assumed that that bulb for that is burned out, but it may just be the alignment issue; I'm not sure.
