Speakers for Icon AMP

Speakers for Icon AMP

Hey,

I'm currently trying to decide on speakers to use with an Icon AMP and my first choice is Energy RC-Minis, but found this post http://work.rowanhick.com/2008/07/29/energy-rc-minis-nuforce-icon-and-a-little-treat/ regarding using a problem them with the Nuforce Icon.

Can anyone from Nuforce confirm (or likely know) that the problem described at the bottom of the post I linked will not be present when using Icon AMP?

I'm planning on connecting my Icon to the Icon AMP until I upgrade to the HDP.

Icon Amp will not have a problem. Icon and Icon Amp uses different chip. Icon is primarily designed for S-1 (and S-X). We meant to sell them as a set. But Icon Amp is meant for pairing with uDAC or HDP to drive bookshelf speakers.
