Special RM-40 Option !!!

I recently sold my RM-40's.  I didn't realize it but they had an extra option the buyer got for free.  Specifically a 4" bark scorpion had taken up residence in one of the boxes, hitchiked its way across the country on a freight truck, then crawled out in St Augustine FL when the speakers were being unpacked

That's pretty good !  And that sucker looks like like he could really do some damage.  You need to run your speakers louder.  If the sound doesn't drive them out blow them out with shock waves.

I was thinking that the bass port could really get some dirt accumulation over time, one more thing to keep clean, great.  I was also thinking that dust and dirt adhering to the mortite could affect the tuning.  Clean is not my strong suit when it comes to housekeeping.  Don't know about scorpions, but crickets should get an earful if they take up residence.

my maine coon cat eats them live.  he's immune to the venom.  these suckers are the most poisonous scorpions in the USA, although in a healthy adult the sequela of a sting is usually just very severe pain, followed by numbness and tingling...

Supposedly, the smaller they are, the more venemous they are.  In Tucson, I woke up one morning to find a scorpion in my sink.
