If it wasn't for my wife (and Audio Circle) keeping track of my birthday, I wouldn't even know how old I was
Yesterday was a good day.
Last night we had our last regular season baseball game and I told the kids it was my birthday and my present would be for everyone to play their best and try their hardest as it was a big game for us.
One of my boys is the first baseman and he made some exceptional plays and ended up with the game ball. My other boy is the pitcher and he held the other team back. Bottom of the last inning the bases were loaded and he needed to strike out one more batter to win the game........he struck out their #1 hitter! No run were scored on him throughout the game.
So far, we have had a baseball game every year on my birthday and the kids have always pulled through with a "W"
Half way through the game they announced a drawing that they do every year, I won $75 on that one.
