I've been cut off from CD Review for a long time, ever since the BBC was told that it can't broadcast CD excerpts outside of the UK. I really used to like "Building a Library" where each week different presenters play multiple recordings of a work to pick a favorite. Often choosing an historical favorite and a more up to date recording. Vinyl transfers play a big role on most major works so their are tips both major formats.
Now for some reason via a live performance on 3 page I found CD Review is available masked as just the Building a Library segment, the whole program's play list is listed on the page so check it out!
