both of these are awesome, but wery expensive. i have achieved the same results using a simple paper strobe disc and a tiny fluorescent bulb; i placed the disc under my clamp and cued up an album (and my keith monks record sweeper), so i could adjust my motor's speed whilst record was in play. while decidedly lo-tech, it worked fine.
i am not sure who has been copy-catting who, here; these have been around for a while. and, i have no idea which one was made first. personally, if i had the cash to spend on a tweak like this, i really like this one; (the first one i ever saw, a couple years back), it yust looks
