Worlds oldest wood...

Jim...wonder if it would be possible to use this wood for a pair of Soundscapes. They claim it is the worlds oldest wood...I'm intrigued by the fact that it is 50,000 years old and some of the finished characteristics are stunning -

A really cool aspect of this Kauri wood is an iridescent effect they call "whitebait"...scroll down to the last video on this page -

I don't see any reason you couldn't.  It is available in hardwood, plywood and veneer.  I'm not sure how much it would cost and if you have much choice in the way of selection at any given time, but it certainly could be done.

that looks beautiful. I bet the speakers would look stunning with that wood. Probably not very cheap tho.
