Bryston BCD Vs. Theta Digital
« on: 30 May 2008, 09:52 pm »

Hi Guys,

Any comments on the BCD from the owners of Theta DA converters (Va, IIIa) ? Has anyone compared them?

I still use my Theta Va and IIIa converters and absolutely happy with them (recently tested against Benchmark and Apogee 24/96 new gear just to make sure... and still 20 bit Theta rules!! at least to my ears :)).

As an absolutely happy BP25/Pass P/4BSST owner, I wonder if the switch from Theta to BCD would be as good as the switch from different  power amps which I owned (Krell, ML, Cello, CJ, Pass) to Bryston ?

Best regards.

Marcin

I have a theta iiia and find it still beats the benchmark--have not been able to audition the bryston because there is no longer a deal in Dallas
