I found there some of the most incredible reading I've come across in a long time!
The more experienced audiophools among us have undoubtedly heard the name Charles Altmann, a brilliant designer who also writes well enough he could probably make a living writing if he chose to!

I just started reading at the top, and clicked on each successive link in the sidebar on the left.
I'l bet I spent at least 2 hours tonight reading all of it. Amazing stuff!

great site very interesting theories. Have tried Spruce in lieu of maple, so far so good. More of a natural tone than maple IMO. Cheaper too.
